Meet Dr. Nile Scott

Nile G. Scott, D.D.S., P.C.

Dr. Scott has lived in Pueblo since he was 12 years old. He graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Southern Colorado where he received a degree in biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he graduated cum laude and was the valedictorian of his class. Dr. Scott received his orthodontic specialty certificate from the University of Illinois at the Medical Center in Chicago, also finishing at the top of his class.

After returning to Pueblo, Dr. Scott opened his orthodontic practice. Throughout his time in practice, he has been a continual student of orthodontics. Dr. Scott is also a graduate of the Roth-Williams Advanced Continuing Education Institute which is considered to be one of the finest post-graduate orthodontic teaching facilities in the world.

Dr. Scott has participated in many ongoing dental study groups and has presented case studies at the Roth-Williams Institute in San Francisco.

Advanced Training attended by Dr. Scott:

  • The Roth-Williams Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education - two year postgraduate orthodontic course
  • The Robert Ricketts Advanced Continuing Education course
  • The L.D. Pankey Institute – advanced continuing education with emphasis on dental care including occlusal studies
  • The McLaughlin two year advanced orthodontic course

Dr. Scott's involvement with many two to five day orthodontic courses over the years are too numerous to mention. He has been sited on numerous occasions by The Colorado Dental Association for having over 200 hours a year in continuing education in a state where the requirement is 35 hours per year.

Dr. Scott is married to Joyce and they have two children, Kimberly and Brian. In addition, they have two grandchildren, Dane and Rylan. Dr. Scott enjoys outdoor sports, especially football, fly fishing and boating with his family.
