Rentention Therapy

Retention therapy occurs at the end of comprehensive orthodontic care. Retainers are appliances that hold the teeth where they have been placed during treatment. They are checked periodically during retention therapy and must be worn as instructed in order to prevent movement of the teeth. Dr. Scott also monitors the growth of the patient and positions of the teeth at these infrequent appointments.
