Comprehensive Orthodontics

(Full Braces)
Comprehensive orthodontic care is usually recommended when the bite is irregular or there is crowding. The ideal time to start comprehensive care is between 11 1/2 to 13 years of age, on average. Ideally the treatment is started before the last four primary teeth are lost. At this age, we have the advantage of working with the patient's growth, and modification of growth by various means is often required in order to gain a satisfactory dental and facial result.

Ideally for the patient and parent, comprehensive orthodontics is the preferred method of treatment. This is due to the fact that it reduces the total amount of treatment time as well as the total amount of visits to the office.
